Coast, canyon and ballroom, two hours from our warehouse
San Diego weddings run the full range: a ceremony on the sand or a bluff with the Pacific behind you, a reception in a historic hotel ballroom, a rooftop over the Gaslamp, or an estate in Rancho Santa Fe where the whole evening is outdoors. Each one changes the plan. Beach and bluff ceremonies need audio that beats the wind and the surf. Estates and ranches are about power, sunset timing and the county's evening quiet hour. Hotel ballrooms are where uplighting and the LED wall do the most to transform a neutral room, and where effects policies are decided venue by venue.
Effects are the question we settle first. Cold spark fountains are indoor-safe with no open flame, and many San Diego ballrooms allow them where sparklers are banned, but every venue approves them individually. We contact your venue directly, explain exactly what we run, and confirm fog and sparks in writing before you book them.
San Diego is about two hours from our Los Angeles warehouse. Travel is quoted up front as its own line, and for a full production package it is a small share of the total, so the price you see is the price you pay.

The notes below are the planning we do for every venue type. Tell us yours and the quote reflects it.
Check your venue- Coronado & the beach hotelsThe Hotel del Coronado, the Coronado Island Marriott and the beachfront hotels: sand and lawn ceremonies that need wind-resistant audio, and ballrooms with their own effects policies we confirm in writing.
- La Jolla & Del Mar bluffsScripps Seaside Forum, the La Jolla and Del Mar hotels and the bluff-top lawns: wireless lapel mic on the officiant, speakers placed and powered to carry over the surf, lighting timed to sunset.
- Rancho Santa Fe & North County estatesRanch and estate venues in Rancho Santa Fe, Escondido and the North County hills: fully outdoor evenings, generator or house power, dust protection for the LED wall and a timeline built to the county quiet hour.
- Downtown hotels & rooftopsThe US Grant, the Westgate, the bayfront hotels and the Gaslamp rooftops: freight elevators and ceiling heights decide the wall size, rooftops need wind-rated structure, and uplighting does the heavy lifting indoors.
- Balboa Park, museums & gardensHistoric rooms, courtyards and gardens with floor protection, contained ceremony audio and effects placed where the venue allows.

A San Diego wedding, start to finish
Here is how a typical wedding with us unfolds. Your timeline is built with you and your planner in advance, and the crew runs it from load-in to strike.
Ceremony on the Sand
Officiant on a wireless lapel mic, handheld mics for vows and readings, processional and recessional music cued to the second, with audio sized to beat the wind and the surf.
Cocktail Hour
A separate speaker setup with a curated playlist on the terrace, so the ballroom is being finished while guests are already enjoying the music.
Grand Entrance
Uplights shift to your colors, moving heads sweep the room, your names appear on the LED wall and the DJ brings you in on the track you chose.
First Dance
Fog spreads across the floor as the song begins. The lights narrow to the two of you. On the chorus, four cold spark fountains fire on cue, where the venue allows.
Toasts & Dinner
Handheld mics for speeches, a slideshow or live visuals on the wall, and lighting set low and warm while dinner is served.
Open Dance Floor & Last Dance
Line-array sound with proper bass, moving heads and color changes on the beat, a DJ reading the room, and a clean strike after the last song.

San Diego is about two hours from our Los Angeles warehouse. Travel is quoted up front as its own line on the quote, never added afterward, and it is a small share of a full production package. Hotel load-in rules, dock windows and ballroom effects policies are handled directly with your venue before the day.
From Date Check to Last Dance
Check the date
Send your date, venue and guest count. We confirm availability first, then send a written quote for the pieces you want.
Venue approval
We contact your venue, explain exactly what we run and confirm fog and cold sparks in writing before you book effects.
Timeline & cues
You and your planner send us the timeline; we send back a production version with cue points for the entrance, first dance, toasts and last dance.
The night
One crew loads in, runs music, sound, lighting and effects from one run-of-show, and strikes cleanly after the last song.
Before You Book
Will our San Diego venue allow fog and cold sparks?
Many do, because cold spark fountains have no open flame, low heat and no pyrotechnic smoke, and dancing-on-clouds fog stays at floor level and clears quickly. Every venue decides for itself, though, so we contact yours directly, explain exactly what we run, and confirm approval in writing before you book either effect.
Can the ceremony audio handle wind on the beach or a bluff?
Yes. We use wireless lapel mics on the officiant, handheld mics for vows and readings, and speakers placed and powered for an outdoor ceremony, so every guest hears every word over the surf.
Do you charge for travel to San Diego?
Travel is quoted up front as its own line and is a small share of a full package. You see it before you book, and it never changes afterward.
Does an estate or ranch venue have enough power?
Usually with planning. Before the day we send your venue a power and load-in list, and where the site runs on generators we spec a quiet one for the wall, PA, lighting and effects. It is planned in advance rather than discovered on the day.
Can we see an estimate before we send our details?
Yes. The package builder on the weddings page shows a live estimate as you tick what you want in the room. This page's form sends the same request with your venue already in San Diego.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as you have a date and a venue. Peak season in Southern California runs roughly May through October and Saturdays go first. The 50% deposit is what holds your date.
